The Kisima Festival is back on the Kenyan coast, running from Friday, October 16 to Monday, October 19 in a 50-acre baobab forest known as Beneath the Baobabs, about five kilometres south of Kilifi town.

This year’s “Love Edition” is built around the theme “Return to Love”, with a programme centred on self-love, community and care for the Earth.

Five strands

  • Ignite: talks and panel discussions.
  • Inspire: spiritual and healing practices.
  • Ground: wellbeing and nature sessions.
  • Flow: movement and yoga.
  • Ether: arts, theatre, poetry and music.

Organisers published a first draft of the schedule ahead of the festival and said more facilitators, musicians and ceremonies would be announced closer to the dates.

Details of the full line-up, tickets and travel are available from the organisers.
