Marco Joseph, renowned for his heartfelt performances and leading the group, passed away unexpectedly due to a sudden heart attack while undergoing treatment at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) in Dar Es Salaam.
Confirming the heartbreaking news, Japhet Zabron, a fellow member of the gospel ensemble, revealed that Marco Joseph’s health rapidly deteriorated after a sudden heart attack struck last Sunday.

Despite efforts to stabilize him, including a transfer from Bugando Referral Hospital to JKCI for advanced care, the condition proved fatal.
Joseph was a cornerstone of the Zabron Singers, a group celebrated for hits like “Mkono Wake Bwana,” “Swetie Sweetie,” “Sisi Ndio Wale,” “Uko Single,” and “Nakutuma Wimbo.”
