TikToker Tizzian Savage has updated his fans about a tragic road accident he was in that left him fighting for his life and missing in action.

In a video shared by the TikToker on Tuesday, January 14, 2024, on his TikTok, the TikToker narrated the fateful sequence of events that saw him get involved in an accident with his bodaboda and sustain serious injuries on his head.

The TikToker, who rose meteorically from being a bodaboda rider to a social media sensation, said he had been compelled to do the video after fans flooded his DMs with messages about where he was and why he hadn’t gone live on the app in days.

He said he was really grateful that people were reaching out to know what was wrong and assured them that he was alright.

He confirmed to them that some anesthesia he had been injected with was helping him manage the pain and that it was what had given him the strength to make the video.

“Hey guys, I’ve seen your messages. People asking, ‘Tizzian, why are you not live?’ But guys, sijui kama mnaona nyuma bandage. My whole head imefura—nimefura kabisa. Right now, I don’t feel any pain. Nimedungwa maanesthesia—nimedungwa almost 100. It was bad,”

Resuming TikTok Lives

Tizzian, who is prominent on the video-sharing app for going live and engaging fans to send money, announced that he was uncertain about returning to the app anytime soon.

He told fans that his life had been turned upside down after the accident, as his doctor had instructed him not to twist, shout, jump, or even yawn.

He added that he had been given more restrictions, such as not going outside in the sun and not wearing a cap or a shirt with a long collar.

“Saa hi sijui kama naeza kuja live, guys. I’m not supposed to twist, I’m not supposed to chew or yawn. Sifai kuvaa shirt refu, sifai kuwa kwa jua. Sina nywele huku nyuma, guys. Ukiona siko live, try to understand,” he pleaded.

The TikToker then showcased the back of his head, which had been wrapped with a huge bandage, and lamented that he had been stitched extensively before the injury was contained.

Netizens React

The video elicited mixed reactions from TikTokers, with many sending him heartfelt recovery messages.

Some, however, advised him not to rush back to doing live videos, noting that the app’s ban, which is soon to be implemented in the US, could severely affect his live-streaming career.

Others wondered why he was riding a motorbike despite owning an Audi, while a few offered to visit and help him during his recovery.
