A courageous rescue mission by a police helicopter in Yatta, Machakos County, saved a young boy swept away by floodwaters.
The National Police Service confirmed on their Facebook page that the five-year-old boy, seen in a viral video struggling in the raging waters, has been safely reunited with his family.
Captured in NPS photos, the boy is depicted standing on the chopper’s stairway and later sitting comfortably inside the aircraft.
