Nuru Okanga Clears Hospital Bill Rumors
Last year, the diehard fan of opposition leader Raila Odinga, found himself in the spotlight after a Twitter user named Godie alleged that he was detained in a Kayole hospital for failing to pay a hospital bill amounting to Sh6,350.

According to the tweet, Nuru was appealing to Kenyans of goodwill to help him clear the bill.
This claim sparked a wave of reactions on Twitter, with some users expressing disbelief that he couldn’t afford the amount despite his visible support for Raila Odinga, while others called on the ODM leader to assist in clearing the supposed bill.
In an unexpected turn of events, Mumia East MP Peter Salasya decided to investigate the matter.
Salasya visited Nuru Okanga to verify if he was indeed hospitalized and detained over the unpaid bill. In a video shared by the MP, Nuru dismissed the allegations, stating that they were false and that individuals were using his name to scam people online.
