Which Funeral Was Sonko Attending?
Sonko was part of an A-list lineup of leaders at the funeral for Lucy Wambui, a Nairobi entrepreneur who died under mysterious circumstances after a cosmetic procedure at Body By Design clinic.
According to her husband, Francis Ng’ang’a, the clinic discharged Wambui when her recovery took a troubling turn. Following this, the clinic allegedly closed its doors.

Ng’ang’a recounted his wife’s suffering, saying she endured excruciating pain, bizarre symptoms like her intestines bursting, and an overwhelming odor due to complications.
Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries.
Days after Wambui’s passing, Sonko led a group of youth in a protest at the clinic, resulting in its permanent closure, with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU) issuing a closure notice.
