Jumaisi’s escape comes just days after a Makadara court granted police seven more days to detain him, along with two other suspects, Amos Momanyi and Moses Ogembo.
The trio had been linked to the Kware killings after the discovery of human remains in a quarry, where investigators believe Jumaisi may have disposed of some of his victims.
Momanyi and Ogembo, who remain in custody at Muthaiga Police Station, are also facing serious charges related to the murders.
