Rama Munga Juma, a 15-year-old pupil, who was the top student in the 2023 KCPE exam at Kajiweni Primary School in Mkongani zone within Shimba hills is yet to join Form One.
Munga scored 304 marks in his KCPE, emerging as the best pupil in his school.
He was expected to join Mazeras High school in Kilifi but his 72-year-Old grandfather who is his guardian was unable to raise Ksh.40,535 required for school fees.
He pleaded with well-wishers to help him report to school as his mother is unable to raise the funds but till now he hasn’t receive any help.

Riziki Charo, his mother and a single mother, said he was scheduled to report to school on January 15, but she had no money to take him to school.
“I only do manual jobs and currently, I am jobless due to tough economic times, ” she said.
