However, lazy conmen preachers have worsened its reputation by scamming their congregants.
KRG is among several celebrities who expressed their disgust at the video of renowned city preacher Pastor Kanyari, who was gifted unconventional items like condoms and sex lubricant oil during a church service.
Nadia Mukami and Lydiah Wanjiru also expressed their disgust at the video, saying the pastor should stop his gimmicks and respect God.

In the video, a woman from TikTok, accompanied by Rish Kamunge and Peter Kioi, is seen gifting the happy pastor with the bizarre items and announcing her desire to marry him.
Pastor Kanyari responded with elation, much to the surprise of many Kenyans. He remarked that they would trend on TikTok for over two weeks after receiving the unconventional gifts.
