As the deadline for filing tax returns looms, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced revised working hours to accommodate the surge in filings.
In a notice published in local dailies on Tuesday, May 28, the authority stated that working hours would be extended until midnight on select days across KRA service centers, Huduma Centers, and the contact center.

Starting immediately, all tax service offices will operate from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays, with Saturday hours set from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, except for June 29, when services will run until 6:00 pm.
On Sundays, offices will remain closed except for June 30, with operations from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Additionally, select Huduma Centers will operate from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, while others will run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The contact center will extend its hours on weekdays from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm from June 24 to June 28, and on June 30, the deadline day, services will run from 9:00 am to midnight.
