Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has brought attention to a disturbing incident involving a Mercedes Benz on Mombasa road, where occupants were dangerously protruding from its windows.
Murkomen, recently embroiled in a spat with CNN journalist Larry Madowo, took to social media to express his dismay over the incident, which occurred on the busy highway.
A video circulating online shows two individuals leaning out of the speeding vehicle, gleefully performing stunts while endangering themselves and others.
Murkomen condemned the reckless behavior and vowed to take action against the owner of the car, identified by its registration number as KCX 959B.
He emphasized the seriousness of the issue, highlighting the risks posed by such irresponsible driving.

Concerned citizens who witnessed the incident shared the video with Murkomen, expressing their alarm and urging him to intervene.

Many pointed to the case of Senator Karen Nyamu, who had allegedly flouted traffic rules without facing consequences, questioning the government’s consistency in addressing such violations.
