The TikToker, who goes by the username Iammary, expressed that she is unbothered by the criticism, stating she enjoys staying active and earning her own money.
She explained that people often bombard her with questions about why she engages in such menial work, especially when her mzungu husband has the means to support her.
Mary revealed that her husband even helps her sell the mandazi.
In a video shared on her TikTok, Mary is seen serving her husband a piece of the mandazi she sells, explaining that her involvement in the business doesn’t mean she’s deprived of love or money.
