In his Instagram post, the campaign poster showed him in a blue suit, with the phrase “Kazi kwa Vijana” at the bottom, suggesting his focus on uplifting the youth.
The entrepreneur was one of the celebrities who took to the streets during the June 25 anti-finance bill protests, accompanied by viral Ugandan hitmaker Hoozambe.
This came after backlash poured on him for initially supporting the finance bill, but he changed his stance during the social media rallies when he realized the majority of youth were fervently opposing the bill.
The Starehe MP seat he is aiming for is currently held by Honourable Amos Mwago of the Jubilee Party, after being held from 2017 by renowned singer turned politician Charles Njagua.
