The Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) has issued an urgent appeal for information on several individuals who have gone missing since the anti-finance bill protests began in Kenya on June 18.
According to the KHRC’s latest notice, the missing persons include participants in the protests and others who were reportedly abducted by security agencies.
One of the individuals featured in the notice is Dorin Jane, who participated in the anti-finance bill protest earlier this year. Dorin, originally from Machakos and a resident of Pipeline, Nairobi, was last seen before her sudden and mysterious disappearance.
Despite numerous efforts to locate her, including checks at the City Mortuary, authorities have yet to uncover any leads about her whereabouts.

Her close relatives have reported her disappearance to Kware Police Station, but no substantial information has been gathered so far.
Another missing person, Daniel Kabusho, was last seen at a restaurant in Juja, Kiambu, on June 18.
Witnesses reported that Daniel, 38, was abducted by security agencies while he was on a phone call outside the restaurant.

His wife has confirmed that Daniel was not involved in the anti-finance bill protests, adding to the concern surrounding his sudden disappearance.
A missing person report has been filed at Kays Police Station on Kenyatta Road, but so far, there has been no breakthrough in the investigation.
Emmanuel Kamau Mukuria, 24, is also among the missing. He took part in the Occupy Parliament protest on June 25 and was last seen in Nairobi’s central business district.
