In a tragic incident today afternoon, a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) helicopter crashed and burst into flames in the Sindar area of Western Kenya, near the border of West Pokot and Elgeyo Marakwet counties.
The crash claimed the lives of five occupants, while three others managed to survive with injuries.

Authorities reported that the three injured survivors were promptly airlifted to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
