The Body of a 19 year old woman has been found lying lifeless in a pool of blood outside an apartment in white house apartments along Thome area in Kasarani Nairobi.
Joan Nzomo is said to have fell from 10th floor of an apartment on Saturday at around 3am in Thome area Kasarani.
According to the Detectives from Directorate of Criminal Investigations it was said that Nzomo was in a company of a man named Lawrence Gitonga.
The detectives found her partner Lawrence Gitonga unconscious on the floor with 8 stab wounds.
Sources close to investigations told DCI Officers that the deceased (Joan) was last seen wearing a red T-shirt when she left home.
During her return to the Apartment she was seen in a company of a man (Lawrence Gitonga) whom she met in one of the entertainment joints along Mirema Drive in Roysambu on Friday night.
Hours later, Joan together with Lawrence were seen dropping off one of their friends before heading to the white house apartments in Thome area, Kasarani.
They then proceeded to a bar close to the apartments where they continued drinking inside his car.
At around 3Am on Saturday, the two checked in into the short-stay apartment they had booked on the 10th floor, questions are now emerging on what happened inside the room.
According to Pictures seen by DCI Officers depict a bloody scene with blood-stained bedsheets and blood splattered on the bathroom walls and floor showing there could have been a struggle or the man may have sought refuge after he was stabbed eight times.
Gitonga the man who was with her was found unconscious inside the 10th floor Apartment, he had 8 stab wounds that were bleeding non-stop.
The deceased according to source said she had no wounds on her body.
Detectives are keen to get answers on what exactly transpired leading to the death of the woman.
Gitonga is admitted at a hospital in Nairobi where he was rushed.
The officers are trying to unravel what transpired with pictures from the house showing bloody bedsheets and a bathroom.
The investigating officers collected forensic evidence, and personal belongings and secured CCTV footage that will help in their investigations.
The DCI officers spent the better part of Saturday morning combing through evidence and interviewing residents and management of the apartment that doubles up as a residential and temporary stay apartment.
