The sorrowful occasion saw the remains of 28-year-old Ann Njeri Joseph and her one-year-old daughter, Gladys Njeri, finally laid to rest.
Many in the grief-stricken crowd were in disbelief as the two caskets, carrying the mother and her child, were lowered into shallow graves at their home.

During the burial, family members tenderly eulogized Ann and Gladys, recalling their vibrant lives and the heart-wrenching tragedy that cut them short.
Gladys’ small casket was placed beside her mother’s throughout the ceremony, with crosses at the front of each coffin marking the days their lives began and ended.
