Governor Wanga echoed McOure’s sentiments, highlighting the importance of youth participation in ODM’s future.
“ODM is the party of the future, and the future of ODM is in the hands of our young people. That’s why we want strong involvement of brilliant young people like Kasmuel McOure,” Wanga stated.

McOure’s recent influence rose during the public protests over the Finance Bill, 2024, where he was instrumental in leading anti-government actions, both online and in the streets.
In his new role, McOure will also help drive efforts to increase party membership among youth, aiming to build a diverse and inclusive membership base.
