Four people lost their lives when a small single-engine Beechcraft F33A plane crashed at Sundance Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. as the aircraft was taking off from the small airport on the city’s outskirts.

Local authorities, including the Oklahoma City Fire Department, have reported the crash and notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
While the FAA confirmed the aircraft type, the NTSB will lead the investigation into the cause of the crash.
