Comedian-turned-philanthropist Eric Omondi has once again come to the aid of Kenyans in Athi River who were trapped in their homes due to heavy rains causing floods in their area.
In a video shared on his social media platforms, Eric can be seen navigating through large bodies of water in the neighborhood using a boat, rescuing people.

This included young children and women, even during the night, as relentless rains continued to cause havoc in the area.
Eric expressed concern that the flooding in the Mangeli area of Athi River was escalating by the hour, and he managed to rescue 34 stranded individuals.

He mentioned that others were stuck on rooftops after their houses were completely inundated with water.
Eric recounted a recent rescue mission in the Ruiru area of Nairobi, where he saved a mother and her three children just a few hours earlier.
He criticized the government for seemingly neglecting the flooding crisis facing Kenyans while focusing on less critical matters such as the appointment of Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAs).

Eric, who has been urging the government to prioritize its duties, emphasized that people are losing their belongings and lives while the government diverts attention to issues like extending the presidential term limit.
