Controversial gospel musician Embarambamba has formally requested renowned city televangelist Bishop Ng’ang’a to allow him to perform some of his latest hits for the church congregation.
The singer, who was recently scrutinized by the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) over ‘inappropriate’ songs, made his heartfelt plea in a video, asking the televangelist to choose which songs he would like him to perform.

Embarambamba listed three songs he intends to perform at Ng’ang’a’s church: “Nikumwagie,” “Nataka Kupupu,” and “Kupanua.”
He explained that he had noticed a significant presence of his Kisii tribe members in Ng’ang’a’s church, making the opportunity ideal for him.

He also mentioned other songs like “Kunyonywa” and “Ingiza,” alongside another hit, “Imesimama Injili.”
He suggested that the performance could be arranged for the coming week, also serving as a meet-and-greet with Pastor Ng’ang’a, whom he referred to as an apostle.
This request comes just weeks after MCSK forgave Embarambamba following the release of his controversial song “Niko Uchi,” which he claimed was gospel but attracted significant backlash.
MCSK had initially imposed a hefty fine on him, but its president, Ezekiel Mutua, decided to give the artist a second chance on the condition that he produces better music.
