A family in Eastleigh is demanding justice following the shocking murders of three relatives— a mother and her two daughters—whose bodies were discovered in different locations across Nairobi.
This tragic incident unfolded after the family reported the three missing on Monday, October 21, leading to an intensive investigation by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
CCTV footage has surfaced, capturing the last moments of 21-year-old Amina Abdirashid and her 12-year-old niece Nuseiba Dahir, seen leaving their home around 12:53 a.m. on the fateful night.

Clad in casual hijab dresses, the girls were spotted walking toward a taxi that had just pulled up outside their residence.
The footage reveals Amina engaged in a two-minute phone call in the parking lot before both girls boarded the vehicle, marking the last known sighting of them.
Tragically, their mother, Waris Daud, who had gone to the hospital earlier that day, also fell victim to this brutal crime.

Waris, feeling unwell, informed her family that she would seek medical attention around 7 p.m. on October 21. Later that evening, Amina called her mother to check on her, and Waris assured her that she would return soon.
However, when she failed to come home, Amina and Nuseiba set out to the hospital in search of her, but they never returned.

The family’s worst fears were realized the following day when they received heartbreaking news: Amina and Nuseiba’s bodies were found in the Park Road and Bahati areas, while Waris’s body was discovered in a bush in Machakos.
The similarities in the manner of their deaths have led investigators to believe that one individual may be responsible for all three killings, intensifying the urgency of the investigation.
Community members and relatives have calling for justice, demanding answers and accountability for this horrific crime that has left an entire family shattered.
Sumeya Noor, a close family member, expressed the family’s grief, highlighting the fear and confusion that has engulfed their community.
“This is unimaginable; we just want to know why this happened and who is responsible,” Sumeya stated.
