Sonnie had just gone through a public breakup with comedian Mulamwah and was also dealing with the pressures of being a new mother.
The relentless criticism from social media nearly pushed her to the edge of a mental breakdown.
In a recent interview, Sonnie revealed how Nasra stepped in at her lowest point, paying for her therapy and encouraging her to attend sessions regularly.

Sonnie explained, “Nasra was the one who helped me. I was going crazy; I would wake up to find myself trending and not knowing what I had done. She would wake me up every morning to go for therapy.”

Sonnie went through three months of therapy, which helped her regain her mental balance.

Reflecting on the ordeal, Sonnie shared that therapy has since helped her handle the online negativity better.
