A harrowing accident along Thika Superhighway on Friday, November 8, near the GSU headquarters, left several people injured and caused a major traffic jam as a packed public service vehicle (PSV) collided with a blue Honda Fit.
The incident unfolded in the afternoon, leading to the PSV rolling onto its side, while the Honda suffered severe damage to the passenger side.
Eyewitness videos captured the aftermath, showing the overturned bus lying in the middle of the road, while bystanders and Good Samaritans quickly rushed to aid passengers trapped inside.
Passengers were seen climbing out through the windows with the assistance of bystanders, as emergency responders worked to assess injuries.

At one point, a woman was seen struggling to rise, appearing visibly shaken and in pain.
Officers from the nearby GSU headquarters arrived on the scene, working to disperse the growing crowd and manage traffic flow as congestion intensified.
