Billy Mwangi, the Embu youth recently freed after a harrowing two-week abduction, has denied owning several social media accounts posting under his name.
Speaking in a video released on January 6, Mwangi clarified that his phone was taken by his abductors, and his X account (@Psychosins) was hacked.

“Those accounts are not me. My phone was taken, and my account was hacked. I’ll keep you updated personally when necessary,” Mwangi said, expressing gratitude to fans and Embu residents for their unwavering support during his ordeal.

Recounting his experience, Mwangi shared that his detention left him mentally shaken.
“Even though they shaved me, I’m back and recovering slowly. I’m not OK mentally, but I’ll get there,” he said, assuring his followers that brighter days lie ahead.
