The family disclosed that Oyier, who was the second eldest son in a family of five, passed away at around 2:30 pm while at a Nairobi Hospital. Chief of Defense Francis Omondi Ogolla was among the five occupants who tragically perished in a chopper accident this afternoon. Reports indicate the helicopter was en route from a peace mission in the Sindar area where KDF reconstructing schools when it crashed, and burst into flames.
