Bongo Flava luminary Ali Kiba has mirrored his rival Diamond Platnumz’s footsteps by inaugurating his own media empire.
This bold move comes amid the ‘Tetema’ hitmakers efforts to mark two decades in the music scene, where he has carved out a formidable reputation and propelled Tanzanian music onto the global stage.
In a glitzy star studded affair on Saturday night, Kiba who was dressed to kill expressed his ambition to connect with as many people as possible through his new venture, Crowns Media, encompassing a television network, radio station, digital platform, and event organization.

The lineup includes Crown FM, Crown TV, and Crown Digital.
Notable attendees at the launch included former Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete and fellow crooner Ommy Dimpoz.
Ali Kiba now stands alongside Tanzanian sensation Diamond Platnumz alias Simba, who heads the flourishing Wasafi Media conglomerate.

Ali Kiba’s Ex Amina Khaled Demands Divorce Amidst Public Outcry
In early 2023, the musician’s former flame, Amina Khalef, made waves on social media, calling for a split from the singer.
In a heartfelt Instagram post aimed at the heartthrob, Amina aired her grievances about the public disrespect she endured, shedding light on the hidden truths.

She lamented that while Ali Kiba carried on as usual, she felt trapped in her marital status. Amina urged the singer to ink the divorce papers for a smoother exit.
The duo tied the knot under Islamic Law in a grandiose Mombasa ceremony on April 19, 2018, and later set up home in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Yet, come February 2022, Amina filed for divorce, citing abandonment and neglect toward herself and their duo of offspring.
She detailed her departure from their Tanzanian abode around October 2018 due to pregnancy-related mental health struggles and clashes with Kiba and his kin.
Amina, observing Mombasa’s Muslim customs, remained at her family’s abode for 40 days post-delivery of their first child on February 19, 2019.
