Accompanied by a somber musical composition, Omondi underscored the hardships faced by Nairobi residents and Kenyans at large amid a series of floods and mistreatment by city officials.
He lamented the perceived abandonment of Kenyans and showcased additional footages depicting various instances of suffering.
One was that of a bodaboda rider being swept away with his motorcycle, and the other of deceased individual being hurried into an ambulance following the Mai Mahiu dam burst.

These efforts come shortly after Omondi orchestrated the rescue of stranded Kenyans in Athi River, employing a boat to save 33 individuals.
At the time, Omondi, formerly known as a comedian, criticized the government for its apparent indifference to the plight of its citizens, pledging to assist within his means.

Omondi has been vocal in his advocacy efforts, particularly in his criticism of embattled governor Johnson Sakaja, whom he has accused of incompetence and deemed unworthy of the Nairobi governorship.
