The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has stepped forward to support families in the Coast Region during the holy month of Ramadan.
With a donation valued at Sh1.5 million, the KPA aims to alleviate the burdens faced by Muslim communities during this sacred period.
At a ceremony held at the KPA headquarters, Managing Director Capt William Ruto underscored the organization’s commitment to standing with the Muslim community.

Recognizing the challenges many families encounter, particularly those grappling with economic hardships, Capt Ruto emphasized the collective effort to provide relief, allowing families to observe Ramadan with peace of mind.
“The essence of Ramadan lies in compassion and solidarity, and through this donation, we strive to uphold these values by supporting those in need,” stated Capt Ruto.
He highlighted the significance of giving back, especially to those experiencing economic hardship and inequality, reiterating KPA’s pivotal role in fostering community support.
