Married to two wives, the actor nearly lost his marriage and family due to his alcohol addiction.
In 2023, he opened up about how a harmless sip of liquor spiraled into a full-blown addiction over time.
During his time on “Tahidi High,” Omosh admitted to consuming 10 beers daily without feeling their effects. As a public figure, he found himself frequenting parties and events where free drinks were abundant, deepening his descent into alcoholism.
Soon, he became a regular at liquor stores, seeking cheap hard liquor known as “Mzinga” for as little as 500 shillings a day, regardless of his financial situation.
Fortunately, when he reached out for help online, fans and celebrities rallied to his aid, resulting in significant support, including the construction of a new home.
Media personality Jalang’o spearheaded fundraising efforts, ultimately surpassing the target of 1 million shillings. In an update, he shared the overwhelming response, totaling 1,050,000 shillings, along with additional contributions like a shopping voucher, furniture, and a TV.
