- Brian Chira’s grandmother went live yet again and addressed TikTokers for having abandoned her, yet she deems them her only family
- The grandmother was speaking about how insecurity has become prone in the area they bought her house, saying they should be calling and visiting from time to time
- She also reiterated her previous plea that they buy her a house in a different location, as that is the only way her heart would stay in peace
Brian Chira’s grandmother has expressed her disappointment, revealing that while TikTokers showed immense love and support by visiting her shortly after the burial of her grandson, TikToker Brian Chira, those visits have since stopped.
The elderly woman, who has recently become a trending topic on the video-sharing platform following her plea to sell her house, made her emotional appeal during a TikTok Live session hosted by one of her former benefactors.
It was during this session that she opened up about her feelings, lamenting that she no longer sees anyone visiting her as they once did, yet, in her heart, she considers TikTokers to be her family.

“Hapa mimi nalia, hakuna mtu ananipigia simu aniulize, ‘Shosho uko aje?’ Mkuwe tu mnanitembelea, mniulize kunaendaje shosho. Nisikie tu kama niko na familia. Nyinyi ni familia yangu, niliwaweka kama familia. Nawapenda na si ati kusema tu na mdomo.”
Rising Insecurity Concerns
The grandmother was also addressing a growing wave of insecurity, particularly burglaries, which she said have become rampant in the area where TikTokers purchased her house.
She reiterated her previous plea for TikTokers to allow her to sell the house so she could relocate and either buy or build a new home elsewhere—or for them to assist in doing so.
According to her, there are limited solutions to the security concerns in her neighborhood, and she would find peace only if she moved. However, she remains open to alternative solutions, such as the installation of an electric barbed fence around her property.
Calls for Frequent Visits
Having lost her grandson last year in a tragic road accident, the elderly woman emphasized the importance of TikTokers—who stood by her in her time of grief—continuing to check on her and visiting frequently.

Selling the House
Previously, during a TikTok Live session with her close confidant, Obidan Dela, the grandmother disclosed that she had been contemplating selling the house and moving to a location closer to a main highway.
In addition to security concerns, she cited the poor condition of the road leading to her home, which has made daily life increasingly difficult. She lamented that her grandchild’s school bus had stopped picking him up at the gate because the road was too slippery and the vehicle kept getting stuck.
“Unaona Chira ameteremka miguu. Walimkujia asubuhi, ikateleza sana, lakini jioni vile kulikuwa kunanyesha, wakamuekea huko kwa njia mbali, akashuka miguu,” she lamented.
