Ezra Kabuga Kihara, a Nominated Member of County Assembly (MCA) in Kiambu, lost his life in a tragic road accident early this morning.
The accident, which occurred near Mangu School along Thika Superhighway in Juja, has left many in shock, grieving the untimely death of a promising young leader.
At around 6:00 am, Kihara’s Subaru Forester collided with the rear of an Isuzu lorry, the impact so severe that his vehicle burst into flames on the spot.
According to police reports, Kihara died instantly, unable to escape the inferno that engulfed his car.
His body was later moved to Montezuma Funeral Home, where a postmortem is set to be conducted.

The scene of the accident remains a somber reminder of how fragile life can be.
Mangled remains of the Subaru were towed to Juja police station for further inspection, while investigators work to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi expressed his deep sorrow over the loss, describing Kihara as a vibrant and passionate leader who had dedicated his life to serving the people of Kiambu.

“His work in the County Assembly and in Kiambu will be remembered as proof of his commitment to making a difference. He was a friendly and kind person, always driven to improve the lives of those around him,” Wamatangi said in his emotional tribute.
