Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Kalerwa Salasya has criticized Azimio members who have accepted cabinet positions from President William Ruto, likening the move to the dissolution of the Azimio party and the opposition itself.
In a video shared online, Salasya expressed his disappointment, stating that Azimio’s acceptance of the roles means the party no longer serves as a viable opposition.
“Azimio is dead; even Raila has joined the Government,” Salasya declared, emphasizing that the party’s integration into the government leaves a void in representing the people’s interests.
