Two people have died, and three others have been seriously injured following a collision between two trucks on Nairobi’s Southern Bypass, near the Ole Sereni Hotel.
The incident, which has occurred at around 6:30 a.m., involved an Isuzu FRR truck traveling from Kikuyu that has lost control and collided head-on with an oncoming trailer.
The impact has been catastrophic, with both truck drivers dying instantly. The trailer has caught fire, and the driver has burned beyond recognition.
National Police Service Spokesperson Resila Onyango has reported, “The two drivers have died on the spot while the trailer has caught fire, making identification of the driver challenging.”
