Daadab Member of Parliament Farah Maalim has stirred controversy by skipping a summon from the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) on Monday.
This follows his viral remarks captured in a video where he expressed a hypothetical willingness to “slaughter 5,000 Gen Z protesters” if he were the President of Kenya, during recent anti-Finance Bill 2024 demonstrations.

The Wiper party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) had swiftly distanced itself from Maalim’s comments, calling for his expulsion from the party and removal from all parliamentary committees.
