Police in Webuye East have detained a self-proclaimed pastor, Levis Simiyu, after human body parts were discovered in the boot of his car at a carwash in Masikhu market, Bungoma.
Simiyu, who ministers at a local church in Ndivisi Ward, took his Toyota Premio to a carwash at Amazing petrol station earlier today.
As the carwash attendant was completing the final touches, he noticed a partially burnt human leg protruding from a carton in the boot.

Alarmed by the grisly find, the attendant immediately informed the petrol station manager.

The manager swiftly contacted the Webuye police, who arrived just in time to prevent Simiyu from leaving the scene.
