The beloved comedy show, Churchill Show, is making a triumphant return to NTV, two years after its departure to Cape Media’s TV47.
This move, led by the iconic Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, has been highly anticipated by fans who have long awaited the show’s comeback.
Churchill Show initially left NTV in 2022, but its stint on TV47 was short-lived, leaving comedy enthusiasts disappointed.
The return to NTV, announced by Nation Media Group, is a response to the persistent requests from the show’s loyal audience.
“The wait is over, Kenya! The popular #ChurchillShow is coming back after many years of requests from you, the fans! We heard you loud and clear, and we are bringing you the split sides and hilarious skits you love. Get ready for a new season of pure entertainment! Stay TUNED,” NTV Kenya announced on their Facebook page.

In a joint statement, Churchill and co-host MC Jesse confirmed the show’s return, promising a fresh season packed with hilarious sketches and side-splitting comedy.
They highlighted the significant demand from the audience and expressed excitement about the comeback.
“We are excited we are back where it all began many many years ago and it’s people who have requested for the show,” Churchill said.
The show’s return is scheduled for July 13th at 8 p.m., with live recordings set to begin at Carnivore, creating a platform to showcase diverse talents across the country.

MC Jesse emphasized the show’s role as a talent factory and revealed plans for auditions to discover new talent, ensuring the show aligns with current trends and preferences.
“Auditions must happen, we are going to go as per what people want. We have a whole new team and they will get the right talent as per this generation. We are working with a lot of young guys and the show will complement social media,” Jesse stated.
